Job Description

PTE Precision Machining is in a major growth phase, and we're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer (5+ years) who's ready to step up and play a key role in building the future of our shop. We serve industries including defense, firearms, commercial, marine, telecommunications, and energy — delivering high-precision components and assemblies on time, every time.
What You'll Do:
Program, set up, and run CNC mills/lathes to produce tight-tolerance parts in a variety of materials. Troubleshoot on the spot and turn challenges into solutions. Work with leadership to refine processes and drive efficiency. Take ownership of projects and help guide the shop's growth.

5+ years CNC machining/programming experience. Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to innovate.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of training or experience with CNC equipment. Knowledge & Skill Sets
  • Working knowledge of a variety of materials, from aluminum, steel, stainless and nickel alloys.
  • CNC set up and operation (Fanuc/Siemens Controllers).
  • CAM Programming
  • Mathematically inclined; able to perform basic trig functions quickly.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively. Other Requirements
  • Able to lift 50-70lbs semi-frequently.
