Axis CNC Programmer Shift:
2nd•2:30pm EST•1:30pm EST Position Overview The CNC Programmer supports the aerospace and general production group in a fast-paced manufacturing business. The successful candidate must be a self-starter having a sense of ownership of their projects, and highly organized with a willingness to grow within the CNC group.
Key Responsibilities NC Programming:
Develop efficient programs for components from provided data and prints using Visi CAD/CAM software.
Fixture Design:
Design and program NC holding fixtures utilizing Visi CAD/CAM software.
Operator Support:
Create detailed setup and tooling sheets to guide machine operators through setup processes.
Production Management:
Oversee production run jobs alongside operators, answering technical questions and ensuring all quality standards are met.
ERP System Integration:
Learn and grow into managing assigned jobs using Epicor ERP software, with duties including: Ordering project materials. Developing engineering workflow methods. Monitoring part demand and assisting with production scheduling.
Qualifications & Requirements CNC Industry Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of overall CNC experience.
Programming Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience specifically as a CNC Programmer.
Manufacturing Background:
Proven experience in production and/or prototype injection molding environments.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Core Competencies:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Skills & Experience Software:
Direct, proficiency-level experience with Visi
CAD/CAM. ERP
Systems:
Prior exposure to Epicor ERP software or similar manufacturing systems.
Industry Standards:
Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing quality standards and tight tolerances.
