Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC machines using CAM software such as Fusion 360, TopSolid, or equivalent.
Work extensively with advanced mill-turn equipment to produce high-precision components.
Take projects from engineering drawings and STEP files through programming, setup, machining, and final production.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.
Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies to maximize efficiency and quality.
Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
Train, mentor, and support machinists and machine operators.
Assist with production scheduling and workflow optimization.
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles.
Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to improve manufacturability and overall shop performance.
What We're Looking For10+ years of CNC machining experience with strong programming and setup capabilities.
Extensive CAM programming experience using Fusion 360, TopSolid, or similar software.
Hands-on mill-turn machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Proven experience programming and operating Okuma CNC controls.
Ability to independently take a part from print to finished product.
Strong blueprint reading and geometric tolerance interpretation skills.
Experience leading, training, or mentoring machinists.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
