Machinists, CNC and Manual Titanova, Inc. 198 Hughes Lane. St Charles, MO 63301 Monday through Friday. 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 2:00PM - 10:00 PM Full Time https://www.titanovalaser.com/ We are looking for an experienced CNC and manual machinist who wants to grow our machine shop business, learn new things, enjoys the challenge of new projects, and can work closely with the team to complete production and internal tooling jobs. This is a huge opportunity for growth and learning. Titanova is a full service, ISO 9001:2015 certified high tech laser job shop. We are the only laser job shop in the Midwest region that supplies revolutionary non-cutting laser processes including laser heat treating, laser glazing, laser welding, laser cladding, laser hard facing, laser brazing and laser additive manufacturing services. In addition, we design and fabricate custom integrated laser processing production machines. Our value to our customers is that Titanova offers extensive expertise in solid state lasers, laser processing, laser material interaction, and laser integration, combined with comprehensive quality assurance and metallurgical capabilities. This enables Titanova to offer innovative solutions and efficient R D process development, yielding rapid turnaround times at the lowest cost to our customers. Since lasers are a new and revolutionary tool, Titanova is engaged in every industry from space, aerospace, nuclear, medical, automotive, energy production, mining, agriculture, food production, fabrication, steel production etc. Basically, every industry. Titanova is a one-of-a-kind laser job shop that deals with many different customers and materials, and we are looking for individuals that can think and embrace the challenge of solving new and different problems on an everyday basis, but at the same time recognize that business requires meeting customers' demands.   • Making drawings via Mastercam and/or SolidWorks
  • Skilled at Manual machining- Set-up, program, and operate production jobs including both Manual and CNC.
  • Skilled at reading mechanical drawings-
  • Be able to understand and debug tooling.
  • Knowledge of basic material properties
  • Can perform quality checks and first article work.
  • Use and Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process.
  • Perform periodic checks on equipment.
  • Keepup to date on the latest machining technology.
  • Train machine operators for production jobs including quality control.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Able to multitask in a production environment.
  • Machinist certificate or equivalent work experience

Job Overview We are seeking skilled and motivated Machinists, both CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and manual, to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate a variety of machining tools and equipment to produce high-precision metal and plastic components. Your expertise will ensure that parts meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technology, contribute to innovative manufacturing projects, and develop your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Whether you specialize in CNC programming or manual machining, your contributions will be vital to our production success. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and manual machining tools to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate manufacturing processes Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, Fanuc controls, or CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as SolidWorks or CAD for complex machining tasks Perform machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to optimize performance and ensure dimensional accuracy Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement instruments for quality control Inspect finished components for defects or deviations from specifications; perform quality assurance checks during the manufacturing process Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling tooling, power tools, and grinding equipment Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes or milling machines; manual machining experience is also highly valued Strong knowledge of machining tools, measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers), and precision measurement techniques in manufacturing environments Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T standards accurately Familiarity with CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code; experience with Fanuc controls is preferred Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or general CAD/CAM programming skills for toolpath creation Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of metal machining processes including turning, milling, grinding, and plastics injection molding Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, feed rates, and speeds necessary for machining operations Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction in production workflows Ability to operate measurement tools like micrometers, bore gauges, calipers accurately for quality inspections Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and effectively Physical ability to stand for extended periods; manual dexterity; familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in machining tasks Join us if you're passionate about precision manufacturing!
