Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet required specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs or machines
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to improve production processes
Experience:
- The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in using bore gauges and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints
- Experience with Fanuc controls and machining operations
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes
- Ability to work with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating or modifying drawings
