CNC Programmer S & L Aerospace Metals, LLC - 3.0 Flushing, NY Job Details Full-time $62,000 - $95,000 a year 21 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Employee relationship building Schedule management CNC G-code Programming Collaboration with manufacturing teams Production scheduling Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Job Summary Work directly with manufacturing manager, machine operators, floor supervisors, and production control to produce good programs, keep machines running, and meet production needs Program in Mastercam, CAD in CATIA, processes and controls include 2-3-4 axis mill/turning for Okuma/Mazak/FANUC machines Read, analyze, and interpret blueprint drawings/specifications Select tools and fixtures, end mills, drills, inserts, custom fixtures, etc for jobs Organize, maintain, and revise, if necessary, programs and setup sheets Conduct first run proof of work independently or with machine operator Receive feedback on programs and correct errors or make improvements Requirements Must high school degree or equivalent. Tech school certification and/or college degree is a plus Must 5+ years of machining experience Must 2+ years of CNC programming. Must be able to work closely with manufacturing manager to maintain shop machining schedules and meet production needs Must be able to communicate clearly across different departments, fostering strong employee relations Must have excellent attention to detail

Monday-Friday 7:00am - 5:00
PM Pay:
$62,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
