In this role, you will develop and optimize CNC programs for complex precision components while supporting production, quality, and continuous process improvement. CATIA V5 CAM
for complex 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining applications. Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to determine machining methods and production sequences. Select tooling, fixtures, and materials, including designing custom fixtures when required. Create machine setup documentation, conduct test runs, and troubleshoot programs to achieve required tolerances and quality standards. Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes and resolve technical issues. Verify finished components using precision measuring equipment and maintain accurate program and process documentation. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, quality standards, and industry best practices. Qualifications Associate's degree in CNC Programming, Machine Tool Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. 2-5 years of CNC programming experience, including up to 5-axis machining. Proficiency withCATIA V5 CAM
; experience with other CAD/CAM software is a plus. Experience with Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and/or Mazak controls. Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, G-code/M-code, and precision inspection techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing experience preferred. Turning and/or mill-turn programming experience is a plus.
