Job Description
Reuss Industries is hiring an experienced CNC Programmer / Lead Machinist for our Madison, PA facility. This is a hands-on role combining CNC programming, setup and machining with shop-floor leadership and support of CNC operators. $27 - $32/hr + employer-paid UPMC health insurance + 4% 401(k) match + paid vacations and holidays. What You'll Do
- Program
HAAS CNC
mills and lathes using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software- Set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC equipment
- Work hands-on with Haas CNC mills and lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and job specifications
- Determine appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds and machining processes
- Make program adjustments and optimize machining processes as needed
- Assist with machining and production when needed
- Help troubleshoot setup, tooling, programming and quality issues
- Provide direction and technical support to CNC operators
- Help ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently and on schedule
- Work with management and other departments to resolve production challenges
- Maintain a safe, organized and productive machining environment What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of CNC programming experience required
- Experience programming and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Experience with Mastercam or comparable CAM software
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
- Ability to independently set up and run CNC equipment
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Familiarity with machining materials including stainless steel and aluminum
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Ability to provide guidance and support to other machinists and operators
