Universal Concrete Products is seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC equipment used to manufacture components essential to our architectural precast concrete production process. If you enjoy problem-solving, precision manufacturing, and working with advanced equipment, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment to manufacture production components used in architectural precast concrete production.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
  • Verify machine setup, tooling, and material dimensions prior to production.
  • Inspect completed components to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with production specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to maintain efficient operation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of tooling, materials, and production supplies.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Supervisors to support production schedules and project deadlines.
  • Assist the Carpentry and Set-Up departments during periods of reduced CNC workload.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and programming issues.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety.
