Enhance manufacturing workflows to boost overall throughput, quality, and operational efficiency. Design and refine workholding and fixturing solutions to support production needs. Provide technical support throughout the production cycle, from initial setup to final approval. Collaborate with shop floor staff to resolve complex manufacturing and machining challenges. Develop and manage essential documentation, including setup sheets and standardized manufacturing procedures. Partner with Quality, Production, and Engineering departments to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability. Assess cutting tool efficacy to help the team achieve better precision and longer tool life. Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement to drive down cycle times and elevate product quality. Support the introduction of new products by developing robust manufacturing processes. Required Qualifications Proven background in CNC Programming or Manufacturing Engineering within a machining setting. Proficiency in Mastercam or comparable CAM software platforms. Solid grasp of GD&T, machining processes, and workholding principles. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve production-related technical issues. A practical, hands-on approach paired with strong mechanical problem-solving skills. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is highly valued.
