That's Minor Customs is looking for an experienced Automotive Painter, Buffer, and Polisher who takes pride in producing exceptional results on classic, vintage, custom, and muscle cars. Responsibilities Prepare vehicles, panels, and parts for high-quality refinishing Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, clearcoats, and single-stage finishes Perform accurate color matching, blending, and paint correction Work with solid colors, metallics, pearls, candies, and custom finishes Wet-sand, cut, buff, and polish painted surfaces to a show-quality finish Identify and correct imperfections such as dirt nibs, texture, runs, scratches, and swirl marks Inspect completed work under proper lighting to ensure an exceptional finish Maintain spray guns, painting equipment, tools, and work areas Keep the paint-mixing area and spray booth clean and organized Follow all product, shop, and safety procedures Work carefully around valuable and one-of-a-kind vehicles Communicate material needs, repair concerns, and job progress to the team Benefits Paid holidays Paid vacation and PTO Health insurance Employee discounts Opportunities for advancement The opportunity to work on premium, collector-quality vehicles A friendly, upbeat shop culture with a team that shares your passion for classic cars
