1st Shift - Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime potential on Fridays)
Pay Rate:
$20.00/hour
Note:
Selected candidates must successfully complete a Respirator Fit Test prior to starting. Position Summary We are seeking a Painter to perform production painting activities, including powder coating, wet spray painting, paint mixing, masking, washing parts, and loading/unloading the paint line. The ideal candidate will ensure quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Roles & Responsibilities Perform powder coating and wet spray painting on production parts. Mix paint according to specifications. Mask parts before painting and remove masking after completion. Wash and prepare parts for painting. Load and unload parts from the paint line. Organize parts based on color schemes to support production efficiency. Maintain accurate production paperwork and work orders. Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Keep the work area clean and organized. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous experience in powder coating, spray painting, or an industrial painting environment preferred. Ability to read and follow work orders and written instructions. Basic documentation and reporting skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must successfully complete a Spirometry (Respiratory) Test and Respirator Fit Test as required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift. Frequently lift up to 30 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to operate painting equipment safely. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected if necessary) to inspect painted parts and read work instructions.
