Foam Build-up technician needed!!!
In aviation, "foam build-up" for seats refers to the engineered process of layering, bonding, and shaping different densities and types of fire-retardant foam to construct aircraft seat cushions. This process creates cushions that meet strict safety, comfort, and durability standards, often combining rigid foam for structural support with softer foam for passenger comfort.
Customization (General Aviation): In experimental or private aircraft, builders often use several layers of Foam (like Confor foam) to build up a seat that molds to the occupant's body, providing superior comfort and, in some cases, enhanced crashworthiness.
