Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, multi-famlly, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance durability, and ensure high-quality results that meet client specifications. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute construction painting tasks including surface coating, spray painting (airless and conventional), brush painting, and roller application on various substrates such as drywall, stucco, concrete, and wood. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing work. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to accurately execute painting projects according to design intent. Apply specialty coatings for structural or industrial purposes while adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocol adherence, including respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials. Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, drywall installers, and other tradespeople during renovation or remodeling projects to ensure seamless project completion. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or industrial painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation and coating application techniques. Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Skilled in using various painting tools such as paint sprayers (airless and conventional), brushes, rollers, and hand tools. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction site work including respiratory protection measures. Experience with residential painting projects as well as commercial or industrial applications is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; carpentry or drywall experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform visual color comparisons for precise color matching. Physical ability to use ladders safely and work at heights; experience with scaffolding is advantageous.
