Please, no calls. We are extremely busy right now. Dakota Rustproofing is looking to fill an applicator/sprayer general shop position. We are a growing company and are looking for serious help. You will be driving vehicles on a large 4-post lift, securing the vehicle, masking or covering areas as needed and applying a non-toxic rust-inhibitor to the underside and cavities of cars, pickups, trailers, heavy trucks and more. Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable and be able to pickup/deliver customer vehicles as needed. Possible customer interaction and promoting our products and services. This will be a mostly unsupervised position that demands SAFETY, high quality work with awesome customer service as our main goals. Job will be standing, reaching, lifting, crouching and getting into recesses of a vehicle. Working with computer, cashier as needed and phone sales/scheduling as needed. Heated shop. Dedicated customer base. You may be issued a company cell-phone.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for rustproofing by cleaning, and masking as necessary
• Mix materials to achieve the desired color and consistency
• Operate airless/air paint spraying equipment to apply product to vehicles or other surfaces
• Ensure proper coverage and quality of application
• Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills to interact with clients and address their needs
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to work closely with mechanics
• Familiarity with estimating prices will train.

Job is currently 9AM to 5PM located on-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. No nights. Some weekends possible depending on work load.
