In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, rollers, and conventional spray equipment to apply coatings efficiently and evenly. Conduct construction site surface preparation for painting projects, including drywall installation, masonry work, stucco finishing, and fixture installation. Execute various types of painting tasks such as residential painting, commercial painting, industrial coating applications, structural painting, restoration projects, and renovation work. Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations by using respiratory protection gear and following safety protocols during all phases of work. Accurately assess color matching using visual color comparison techniques and apply knowledge of color theory for aesthetic consistency. Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and blueprints for precise project execution. Complete all job-related documentation including shift reports, safety logs, and project completion forms with attention to detail. Experience Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Familiarity with construction estimating processes related to painting projects is a plus. Hands-on experience with surface preparation techniques such as drywall finishing, plastering, masonry work, and stucco application. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, spray equipment (including airless paint sprayers), brushes, rollers, and other application methods. Knowledge of safety regulations specific to construction sites including respiratory protection and safe handling of hazardous materials.
