If you're the person everyone calls when the controls system goes down — and you actually enjoy figuring out the hard stuff — this is your role. We're looking for a Controls Lead Technician who can take ownership of installs, lead from the front, and solve complex control system challenges with confidence. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows their way around electrical and mechanical systems and isn't afraid to mentor a team while delivering high-quality work. What You'll Be Doing Lead installation and startup of control systems, including wiring and component assembly Diagnose and troubleshoot complex control system issues Perform maintenance, system upgrades, and performance testing Test and calibrate components to ensure peak functionality Read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and technical drawings Ensure all work meets safety standards and project specifications Manage tools, materials, and inventory for projects Document procedures, specifications, and system updates Train and mentor junior technicians Coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and on budget What You Bring to the Table Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems Extensive hands-on experience in control system installation and troubleshooting Prior leadership or supervisory experience Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Willingness to continue learning and advancing your technical skillset Education & Experience Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred Relevant certifications or equivalent hands-on experience considered Proven field experience in control systems Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and work in various environmental conditions Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Willingness to travel to job sites as needed Why This Role?
