Marvin is seeking a Controls Team Lead to guide a small team supporting automation and controls across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks, troubleshoot downtime issues, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and throughput. You'll manage small projects for new equipment and upgrades, standardize controls practices, and collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, and production. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a small controls and automation team supporting manufacturing operations Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, and industrial control systems to minimize downtime Support design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and automation upgrades Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production to improve safety, quality, and throughput Develop and maintain standards for controls documentation, backups, and change management Use root cause analysis and continuous improvement methods to resolve recurring equipment issues Coordinate small to mid-size controls projects, including scope, timeline, and vendor interaction Ensure compliance with electrical, safety, and company standards in all controls work Provide on-floor technical support and training for technicians and operators Identify and implement opportunities for data collection, monitoring, and OEE improvement Required Skills PLC programming (Allen-Bradley/Siemens)
