Our team thrives on creativity, precision, and collaboration — and we're looking for a motivated Electrical Automation & Controls Technician to join our growing company. Position Overview As an Electrical Automation & Controls Technician, you will be responsible for the electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical assembly of automation equipment and robotic systems. This position involves wiring, panel building, system integration, and testing. You'll work closely with engineers and technicians to bring automation projects from design to production. Responsibilities Assemble and wire control panels and electrical enclosures Review electrical and pneumatic schematics, assembly drawings and bill of materials (BOMs) to understand machine function Organize, and kit electrical and control components for builds Perform hands-on tasks including: Soldering, wiring, labeling, and plumbing Mechanical assembly and pneumatic setup Continuity testing, power-up, and debugging Install and set up robotic and automation systems Collaborate with team members to ensure project quality and on-time completion Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical/electrical field (1+ year minimum) Understanding of electronic circuitry, industrial controls, and pneumatics Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams Experience in industrial equipment or automation assembly Basic PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens a plus) Excellent communication and multitasking skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment Willingness to work overtime and travel when required
