Charleston, WV Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support customers in process control instrumentation and equipment startup with focus on flow measurement equipment- Verify, troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and equipment communications
- Inspect instrument wiring, power and grounding of installation
- Set up instruments with Hart 475 field communicator
- Work with onsite installation crew Replace/install instrumentation and equipment Troubleshoot failed instruments and equipment Develop solutions to resolve instrumentation and equipment problems Calibration of measurement and flow transmitters Providing clear and effective documentation of services provided to customers
Requirements The Ideal Candidate:
Technical Degree or equivalent field experience. 5+ years experience with Rosemount products is preferred Familiarity with Rosemont and Micro Motion Familiarity with Foxboro, Endress & Hauser, Yokogawa, and other instrumentation Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, shovels, picks, wrenches, tube benders and tube cutters Understand instrumentation and be able to read blueprints Understand and be able to perform electrical work. 480V experience is preferred Ability to work with electrical conduit and fittings is a plus Be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Familiarity with TCP/IP, networking fundamentals, Modbus, RS232/485, and Hart communications Experience managing customer projects and working independently Current driver's license Proficient with MS Office suite Ability to work any overtime that is required to complete a particular assignment (occasional weekend work) Ability to travel out of town and work in the field when requiredCore Competencies:
