Job Description

Job description PART- This job is Aug. 10-13, 9 am - noon, in Appleton, WI. We are looking for someone who is great with kids and has sewing experience. If that description matches you and you are available next week , please apply. We will need to have someone hired by Thursday, Aug. 6.
We provide you with:
All the supplies (fabric, sewing machines, needles, etc.) Curriculum with instructions for the students to follow. Training Ongoing support. Youth Enrichment League's mission is to enrich the lives of children to THINK, LEARN and
PLAY WELL.
We partner with local communities to offer children, primarily in grades K-5, a variety of enrichment opportunities, i.e. chess, sewing, fencing, and more.
BENEFITS
Paid training includes an orientation of our policies and procedures as well as class-specific training. This position allows you to gain experience in teaching kids M-F most weeks of the summer and offers insight into a possible career path. Instructors are provided all the supplies they need to flourish in a summer day camp setting. Supplies typically are a large suitcase and bins full of materials, depending on subject and course.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONS
Experience working with children is preferred.
Experience examples include:
youth summer camps, youth coaching, Sunday School instruction, babysitting, having children of your own, etc. Familiarity with hand sewing, use of patterns and sewing machines, and troubleshooting sewing projects. A reliable vehicle. A valid driver's license and ability to transport and store supplies.
