Job Description
Job Overview If you think like an artist and work like scientist, you will fit right in here at Branches. Our wood paddle assembly team has the technical skills needed to glue, shape and finish our amazing line of wood paddles. As a Wood Paddle Assembler, you will be hand making high-end line wood canoe and kayak paddles. Every person on the wood line team plays an important role. The process requires technical skill combined with an artisan touch. Assemblers maintain a tidy work area and follow detailed health and safety guidelines. Previous experience with wood and woodworking is a plus. "Work that doesn't feel like work" because you are part of a friendly and collaborative team. Positive attitudes and pride in craftsmanship are part of the culture here at Branches. A love for paddling and the outdoors is a plus. This is a seasonal / temporary position with the possibility of Full-Time permanent employment. Responsibilities Build canoe and kayak paddles including gluing, shaping/sanding and finishing Maintain a bright and clean environment Maintain a high attention to detail and quality Flexible Scheduling Options Full time: 40-50 hours per week 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day Part time: 10-40 hours per week with flexible hours Overtime available Join our team as a Wood Paddle Team Member and contribute to creating high-quality products while advancing your skills in a supportive environment.
