6:00 AM-11:00 AM Overtime required Average schedule of 50-55 hours per week Position Overview We are looking for a hands-on and dependable Mechanical Assembly Technician to help build high-quality light towers and trailers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, assembling equipment, and learning different areas of a manufacturing operation. Team members will receive cross-training across multiple production stations , allowing them to perform a variety of assembly functions and support coworkers as needed. Every station requires strong attention to detail, safe work practices, and a commitment to producing quality equipment. What You'll Do Assemble light towers, trailers, and related mechanical components according to production specifications. Perform mechanical assembly tasks including bolting, drilling, fastening, and general equipment assembly. Operate standard hand and power tools, as well as hoists and cranes, as required. Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation. Use color codes and other identification methods to correctly install components. Learn and perform duties across multiple production stations through cross-training. Provide support to teammates and assist with tasks outside of your primary work area. Monitor completed work for accuracy, quality, and proper assembly. Identify and communicate potential safety, quality, or productivity improvements. Record material and component usage accurately using company computer systems. Maintain an organized work area and follow required PPE, safety, and quality procedures. Contribute to a positive team environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Follow company standards, procedures, and production goals.
Qualifications Required:
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, production, or a similar environment. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly instructions. Familiarity with mechanical assembly processes and common hand and power tools. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate hoists and cranes. Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude. Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform precise assembly work. Ability to work effectively as part of a production team. Willingness to learn multiple job functions and adapt to changing production needs. Understanding of basic workplace safety and quality standards.
Preferred buy not required:
Bilingual in English and Spanish . Experience in an
ISO 9001
2015 manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices. Physical Demands Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following PPE and safety requirements. Must be able to stand for a 10-hour shift . Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 lbs. throughout the workday. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks involving tools, equipment, bending, reaching, and assembly.

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 55.0 per week
