Job Title:
Control Panel Wirer Text 8 4 7 5 8 0 2 8 1 4 Are you looking to join a team within one of the fastest growing industries in data center assembly? We are have immediate openings for a morning shift, $20hr to start and over $21.50 within 90 days. Job Description This position is responsible for the wiring and final assembly of panel boards related to low and medium voltage switchgears. Responsibilities Wire and assemble electrical control panels. Follow wiring diagrams and schematics accurately. Install pre-wired panels into control boxes. Terminate wiring based on schematics. Diagnose and troubleshoot using blueprints and schematic drawings to determine wiring layout. Inspect parts to identify defects and ensure quality. Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools or other equipment are used based on the task. Maintain regular in-person attendance as an essential function of this job. Essential Skills Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics. Basic computer skills. Proficiency in using shop equipment and hand tools. Basic math skills, including an understanding of fractions and decimals. Ability to take direction, follow instructions, and work with others with a positive attitude. Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or Technical School preferred but not required. Experience with mechanical assembly and the use of hand and power tools. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and understand electrical assembly and panel wiring. Why Work Here? It is involved in manufacturing everything from start to finish, including fabrication, welding, wiring, and assembly. The facility is very clean, newly designed, modern, and maintains comfortable temperatures for working. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
