  • 10/13/2027 Job Summary We are seeking experienced Assembler II professionals to support manufacturing operations in Dexter, Michigan.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in electronic assembly, medical device assembly, or a combination of both. This position involves assembling, inspecting, testing, reworking, and modifying products and subassemblies according to established procedures, diagrams, schematics, and quality requirements.

Important :

This is a 2nd-shift position. Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift for at least two weeks before transitioning to the regular 2nd-shift schedule. Key Responsibilities Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations. Assemble products and subassemblies using work instructions, diagrams, schematics, visual aids, and process layouts. Use hand tools and other manufacturing equipment to prepare and assemble products. Perform continuity checks and basic functional testing on work-in-process and completed assemblies. Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies as required. Support the assembly and testing of experimental or prototype products when needed. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, abnormalities, or quality issues. Follow established manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and quality standards. Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation. Provide guidance and assistance to new or entry-level employees when needed. Work effectively with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and other internal teams. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in: Electronic assembly, or Medical device assembly, or A combination of electronic and medical device assembly experience. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and operational procedures.

Ability to read and follow:

Assembly instructions Schematics Diagrams Visual work instructions Process flow sheets Comfortable using hand tools and manufacturing equipment. Ability to perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify assembly or quality issues. Ability to work under moderate supervision and follow established procedures. Preferred Experience Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment. Experience with electronic/electromechanical assembly. Experience performing continuity checks or basic electrical testing. Experience with product rework, repair, or modification. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment. Previous experience training or assisting junior assemblers. Education No minimum education requirement. Relevant training, certifications, or practical manufacturing experience are acceptable.

Shift Training:

1st Shift for a minimum of 2 weeks Candidates must be flexible and able to complete the required first-shift training before moving to 2nd shift. Ideal Candidate Profile The strongest candidates will be hands-on assemblers who have worked with electronic components, medical devices, electromechanical products, or precision assemblies and can confidently follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and quality procedures while maintaining production accuracy.
