Electrical Cabinet Assembler Pay Rate:
$22.00/hour

Paid WEEKLY, Medical, Dental, Vision Position Summary The Electrical Cabinet Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control cabinets according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality, safety, and productivity in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble electrical control cabinets and panels in accordance with engineering drawings and wiring diagrams. Install and connect components including relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, switches, and wiring. Route, terminate, and secure wiring to meet quality and workmanship standards. Read and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and assembly instructions. Perform visual inspections to ensure finished assemblies meet specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly instructions. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices. Experience with industrial control panels or electrical cabinet assembly is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Background Experience in electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, or a combination of both. Ability to read engineering drawings, including 2D drawings and AutoCAD-generated prints. Hands-on experience with cabinet building, component installation, and wire routing. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Schedule 1st Shift Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 2nd Shift Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Please indicate shift preference when applying. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed assembly work. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Work Environment & Safety Steel-toe or composite-toe safety boots are required. Additional required personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Must follow all workplace safety standards and procedures. Additional Information Contract assignment expected to last six months, with potential for extension. One-round, in-person interview process.
