Description:

Under limited supervision, duties include but are not limited to, performing system and sub assembly level electronic component and small gauge wire builds. Upgrades and repairs will be performed by following assembly instructions and working to Mil standard drawings.

Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal direction, read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists and connector pin outs of complex assemblies. Candidate must have mechanical assembly and electrical assembly experience of complex Navy shipboard assemblies to include various types of populated chassis, thru hole CCA's and Component board assemblies.

Candidate must be familiar with soldering, crimping contacts, and mechanical assembly to be considered for this opportunity. Must be able to use basic hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering irons. Knowledge and Understanding of

IPC-A-620

Wire and Cable Requirements & J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 Soldering Requirements is a plus.

Soldering experience a must have and preferably Solder Certifications. In addition experience in building harnesses a plus.
