•23/hour based on experience Introduction Express Employment Professionals is hiring for hands-on shop roles in Brighton supporting mechanical assembly, fabrication, and material handling operations. These opportunities are ideal for candidates who enjoy working with tools, building products, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. General Utility/ Mechanical Assembly Position Overview Support mechanical assembly and fabrication departments , working on small to medium-sized products including assembly, machining, painting, and general shop support. Candidates should be comfortable working with tools, blueprints, and performing hands-on production tasks.

Key Responsibilities Perform bench work:

filing, cutting, deburring, drilling, tapping, and reaming Assemble mechanical and basic electrical components (wiring, crimping, soldering, etc.) Operate shop equipment (drill press, hydraulic press, pedestal grinder) Perform light manual machining and part modifications Paint and finish components using spray equipment Move materials using hand tools or lifting equipment Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Skills & Qualifications Ability to read assembly blueprints and schematics Experience using hand and power tools Familiarity with measuring tools (tape, square, voltmeter, etc.) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail 2-4 years of related experience preferred High school diploma or GED required Why Join the Team?
