Job Requirements High school diploma or GED. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and follow mechanical prints, diagrams, bills of materials, and assembly instructions. Ability to assemble mechanical parts using screws, rivets, inserts, adhesives, and other fastening methods. Ability to operate pneumatic tools. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods. Ability to climb and work from a ladder. Sufficient vision for mechanical assembly and inspection tasks. Manual dexterity required for handling tools, hardware, and mechanical components. Preferred Skills Electro-mechanical assembly experience. Experience reading mechanical prints. Forklift experience. Pallet jack experience. Experience assembling capital equipment or large industrial equipment. Job Responsibilities Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and frames for large electronic test equipment. Position, align, and fasten components using hardware, adhesives, hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. Read and interpret prints, diagrams, bills of materials, and assembly documentation. Assemble brackets, rails, bars, plates, capacitors, ducts, and other mechanical components ranging from small parts to assemblies over six feet in size. Select and install appropriate fasteners, including screws, rivets, inserts, and adhesives. Follow documented assembly procedures and work instructions. Inspect completed assemblies for compliance with drawings and specifications. Maintain assembly tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with manufacturing requirements. Support material movement using forklifts or pallet jacks when applicable.
Pay:
