Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machine Operator/Assembler, where your expertise will drive the production of high-quality plastic components and parts. In this energetic role, you'll operate a variety of industrial equipment, including CNC machines, press brake machines, and plastics extrusion systems, ensuring efficient and precise manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor machinery such as CNC lathes, plastics blow molding, injection molding machines, and robotic systems to produce specified parts. Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to ensure products meet strict specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial equipment, including CNC machines, press brakes, and material handling tools. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move raw materials and finished goods efficiently. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery for different production runs, ensuring optimal performance. Document production data accurately, including measurements, machine settings, and quality control results. Requirements Proven experience with plastics manufacturing processes such as plastics blow molding, injection molding, extrusion, or related plastics production experience. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment like CNC lathes, press brake machines, robotic systems, and other machining tools. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CNC programming is highly desirable. Ability to perform precise measurements using measurement (quality control) tools and dimensional measurement instruments. Experience operating forklifts and understanding materials handling procedures within a warehouse environment. Basic math skills for setting up machines and verifying measurements accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and materials handling. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for engineering troubleshooting and quality inspection tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards.
