Duties Carefully read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications. Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. Perform machining tasks as needed, including drilling, cutting, or shaping parts for proper fit and function. Conduct soldering when required for electrical connections or component integration. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the workspace. Follow safety protocols diligently during fabrication, welding, or assembly activities to maintain a secure work environment. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and assembly logs. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly efficiency. Support warehouse operations by organizing parts inventory and ensuring timely delivery of components for assembly. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments with hands-on work involving mechanical components. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is essential. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of machining processes and the ability to operate related machinery is a plus. Experience with soldering electrical components is advantageous. Warehouse experience including forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory; certification is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately.
