Job Description

Unique manufacturing company located in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. PTCI is looking for a Certified Welder (AWS) that is also mechanically inclined and has machine shop experience.
Daily tasks include:
Welding raw material in the production process. Making weld repairs. Examining welded products to conform to quality control standards. Observing, inspecting and maintaining operations of welding equipment. Assisting in inventory record keeping to maintain the Weld Shop.
Physical Demands:
This position requires prolonged periods of standing for up to 8-10 hours per day working. Working with your hands is required. Occasional walking, occasional bending and/or reaching. This position will require pushing, pulling, lifting and/or carrying up to fifty (50) pounds.
Skills:
Candidates need to be a Certified Welder (AWS). Have a basic understanding of machinery work on drill presses, a lathe and metal cutting saws. Candidates should possess knowledge of hand tools and power tools. The ability to read blue prints is not required but desired.
Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
Certification:
Welding Certificate required. American Welding Society (AWS)

Driver's license required Resume required Will need to have hard sole shoes and/or boots

Salary:
Starting at $25.00 dependent on certification and experience
