Job Description

Aerotek is hiring a Laser Operator 1st shift 7am - 3pm $20-$23 depending on experience Responsibilities Operate laser machinery with precision and efficiency. Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. Maintain tolerance levels as low as .0 and sometimes in the negatives. Change out broken tooling and offsets as necessary. Perform preventative maintenance on machines. Responsibly operate and manage three machines simultaneously. Essential Skills 2-3 years of experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in machining and laser operation. Competency in quality inspection and blueprint reading. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the medical device industry is a bonus. Familiarity with CNC mills, CNC operators, and CNC equipment is advantageous. Understanding of micrometers, calipers, and microscopes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
