Job Description

Job Summary Perform technical duties related to the manufacturing of driveshafts Shifts- Weekend shift is 6:00 AM-6:30 PM Friday-Sunday Primary Duties Operate cut off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, balancers and other mechanical equipment Use hand tools to assemble driveshafts Using measuring devise from tape measures to various types of calipers Other duties as assigned Qualifications Have general mechanical experience Works under close direction of senior personnel Ability to/or learn to read tape measures, dial indicators and calipers Ability to/or learn to use small tools such as air tools, hammers, pliers, punches Ability to learn to operate cut off saws, welders and other mechanical equipment Ability to read work order and instructions given to perform effectively
Physical Requirement:
Must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent Technical experience required Mechanical experience preferred
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.50 - $21.25 per hour
