Job Description
Horizon Performance Technologies LLC is an OEM engaged in the design and manufacturing of industrial capital equipment in the heat processing industry including ovens, washers, and material handling. Horizon Performance Technologies LLC is currently seeking a Full-time Mechanical Assembler. Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Mechanical Assembler assists in the final assembly of thermal processing, washing, conveyance, and other equipment. Qualified candidates for this position must possess the mechanical skills to work and learn in a manufacturing capacity to build custom designed equipment.
Responsibilities:
Read and comprehend mechanical prints. Perform complex assembly operations on large components and subassemblies, including fans, burners, pumps, conveyors, etc. Rework and/or repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes. Perform light fabrication (Drill, Machine, Form, etc.). Ability to maintain equipment and a clean work environment. Follow shop safety policies. Local travel to area shops and vendors. Some travel to job sites for field assembly.Skills:
All position GMAW (MIG) welding. Working with torches, plasma cutters, grinders, etc. Working with a variety of structural angle, channel, and tubing. Working with forklifts and rigging. Working with mild steel, stainless, black iron and CPVC pipe. Working knowledge and experience with industrial power & control wiring, but not required. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Good basic math and measurement skills.Education:
