Job Description

Assemble gearboxes per work order instructions. Check work orders for accuracy. Visually inspect parts for quality. Test units for audible noises. Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems. Maintain the 5S program and Kanban system. Be an active participant in the company's suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous assembly or mechanical experience preferred.
Skills and Key Attributes:
Strong mechanical aptitude, detail-oriented, with basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to stand on feet and move around for up to 8-12 hours per day. The Gearbox Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components.
