About the role Nox Metals is hiring a Senior Operator who will report directly to the CEO. This role does not require manufacturing experienced, we are looking for someone who has scaled a company. This role will manage all business functions and help us scale: Super proficient with AI coding Organized Executes tasks assigned Travel Stand up new factories Lead, inspire, and hire Manage teams Self autonomy Focused on the exponential Creates new ideas Attention to detail Great attitude Managed finances We are looking for someone who has done the following, though we are not married to these: Has scaled a startup from early days to growth stage or IPO Managed a team of over 25 Has reported and supported a CEO or leader within a high growth company Has been an operator Has built things that never existed before The role will be based in LA and/or Detroit. It is full-time in person. Technology At Nox Metals, we build software that controls how metal moves through a factory. Quoting, scheduling, cutting, and shipping are all handled through code. We use AI to automate repetitive tasks like cut planning, inventory picking, and quality checks to turn hours of manual work into seconds. Our stack includes React, Next.js, Python, Firebase, and Supabase. We also work with CAD tools and optimization logic. You'll build tools that directly impact real-world operations and help manufacturers get metal faster.
