Laser Operator

Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our team, responsible for the setup and operation of lasers. Experience in programming is highly advantageous. This role involves assisting the engineering team in calculating flat layouts and managing long-run projects, which require multiple setups. Quality checks are an essential part of the process, ensuring high standards at every stage. Responsibilities Set up and operate laser equipment. Assist engineering in calculating flat layouts for projects. Manage multiple setups for long-run projects. Conduct quality checks throughout all stages of the process. Provide first and last pieces for quality inspection. Essential Skills Experience with laser operation and setup. Proficiency in using press brakes. Ability to troubleshoot operations. Skilled in using calipers and micrometers. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 1 year of experience with multi-axis and setup of a brake press. Experience with Cincinnati equipment is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
