SkillSetGroup is seeking a Composite Technician to work in the Brea, CA area. This position will be a hands-on, detail-oriented role to help make aerospace parts. You'll work with materials like fabrics and tapes, prepare molds, and get parts ready for curing in a special oven called an autoclave. If you have experience in assembly, bonding, sheet metal, or laminating, that's helpful but not required. We are currently looking for 1st and 2nd Shift!

Hours:

1st

• 5AM-1:30PM 2nd
• 2PM-10:30PM What You'll Do Follow step-by-step instructions, blueprints, and work orders Measure and record key data for parts Prepare molds and apply materials to them Remove air pockets and make sure materials fit tightly Trim parts with hand tools (scissors, knives) Apply vacuum bags to parts for proper curing Mix resins and catalysts when needed Check work as you go and document results Meet strict quality standards for aerospace parts Work with teammates to meet production goals Requirements High school diploma or GED Able to follow detailed instructions carefully Comfortable with measuring, recording data, and handling materials Able to work standing and bending for long periods Comfortable using adhesives and chemicals (PPE provided) Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment Bonus Skills (Not required) Riveting Sheet metal work Laminating Forming or shaping materials Bonding Work Environment Standing, bending, and repetitive tasks Working with adhesives and chemicals (PPE provided) Safety•and quality-focused production floor
