Heat Treatment/Shot Peen Operators:

Shot Peen Operators Job Duties:

Set up shot peen equipment according to job travelers and specifications Operate machinery to treat metal components with proper coverage and intensity Inspect parts before and after processing for finish, uniformity, and structural integrity Document production data including machine settings, lot numbers, and inspection results Perform basic maintenance such as media checks, cleaning, and equipment monitoring Follow all safety protocols including PPE, lockout/tagout, and machine guarding

Heat Treat Operators Job Duties:

Running and monitoring high‑temperature furnaces Loading and unloading metal parts Keeping machines clean and running properly Using forklifts or cranes to move materials Following safety procedures and written work instructions Keeping records and ensuring products meet quality standards Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial machinery Ability to read work orders, job travelers, and basic measurements Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift/move parts as needed Manufacturing or metal‑finishing experience preferred Shot peen experience is a plus but not required — training provided Opportunities are moving quick!
