Complete essential functions on-site at our Ottawa, Kansas locationResponsible for attaining best-of-industry product knowledge and latest technologies. Serves as the product expert in his/her sales area. Ensures all new equipment is up to date on software when delivered. Understand and be able to train the sales team in the field start process. Recognized as the in-store expert on PF products for KanEquip salespeople, and 'Tier 2' support as needed for all KanEquip customers in the facing store. Support customer operational issues. Assists with product updates, programming, calibration, and adjustments as needed. Ensures excellent responsiveness and follow-through on all support issues. When Service technicians are unable to perform service or installation needs for their customers, they can assist in doing so. Diagnose and repair issues as needed. Ensures all work is chargeable or warranty reimbursed. To become proficient with THD and communicate with Precision PODS to provide team-forward service. Ensures customers have a positive experience with dealing with KanEquip, that communications and follow-through on commitments are best in class. Working with Store Manager, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing strategies, including optimum go-to-market and revenue recovery for support and service activities in covered region. Provide the necessary product training for small groups in the residing location (sales, service, parts). Ensures excellent communications with all salespeople and locations, including timely follow-up of questions and requests for information. Ensures all vendor requirements / dealer standards associated with the function (i.e., training) are satisfied. Ensures relationships with the vendors are solid and any issues resolved. Support sales staff with their targeted sales goals (volume, margin, turnover), through retaining and developing existing customers, and acquiring new customers. Assist the PF Specialist as necessary with customer support for CNH precision data to the customer's data platform and their data platform back to CNH product.
Solid problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization. Expertise computer systems and software, including MS office and internet-based applications. Ability to work extended hours as needed, particularly in peak seasons. Ability to travel to company meetings and training events as needed. Acceptable Motor Vehicle status, with current driver's license, and ability to operate motor vehicle. Ability to achieve and maintain Case IH Sales, Service and PF Specialist Precision Technology certification(s).

Summary:
The Precision Agriculture Support Specialist will lead the store's efforts in advancing Case IH precision products and related software technologies in KanEquip and its market area. The Precision Support Specialist will assist internal personnel in positioning KanEquip to be recognized by its customers as a market leader and a valued consultant for agricultural technology.
