We are seeking a full-time dependable Field Service Technician in Fort Wayne, IN. Territory will cover approximately 150-mile radius around Fort Wayne, IN. This is a remote position but candidates need to live within territory, as you will be traveling for this work. We offer very competitive corporate and benefits package. Employee Referral Program Retirement Plan Employee-Owned Company Clothing Allowance Cellphone Reimbursement Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing pre-delivery Inspections of new equipment, prep new equipment for delivery to customer base Repair and refurbish used equipment as requested; including but not limited to electrical diagnosis and repair, hydraulics, engine repair, and other mechanical work. Perform diagnostics on diesel engines, including new Tier 4 technology Ability and willingness to learn diagnostics using laptops, tablets, and computers Working with AG Precision equipment including installing, diagnosing, and repair. Some welding and fabricating will be required of the job. Superior time management skills are a must. Will be personally accountable for managing own schedule.
Ideal Candidate Must Have:
Diesel mechanic knowledge and experience and own their own tools. Agriculture experience strongly preferred. One year of mechanical experience Ability to adjust to changing priorities and perform work that requires frequent shifts in direction. Achievement-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on challenges, solve problems, and find solutions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Willingness to work beyond normal business hours when needed to support customer and business needs. Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions. Strong willingness to learn, positive attitude, and desire to be an engaged member of a team. Possess a valid driver's license; Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain.
A good driving record including:
no more than one chargeable accident within the last three years, no more than one moving violation in the last three years and cannot have a D.U.I. in the past 7 years
