We're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to support our food manufacturing operation by ensuring products meet HACCP, SQF, GMP, and regulatory standards —every shift, every product. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who understands real-world QA in a production environment , not just textbook quality. What You'll Do Perform physical, visual, and analytical inspections of products and processes Collect product samples, verify and create product labels, and work in conjunction with QA Lab Supervisor Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming product Conduct equipment calibrations (thermometers, scales, etc.) Verify and enforce GMP, GHP, HACCP, and SQF requirements Partner with Production and Management to promote a strong food safety culture Train and coach production employees on GMPs and food safety expectations Take corrective action when deviations occur and escalate issues appropriately What We're Looking For ✅ Food manufacturing or QA experience is strongly preferred ✅ Working knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMPs ✅ Comfortable working in cold and noisy environments ✅ Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable ✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills ✅ Ability to work independently and make sound decisions ✅ Basic computer skills (data entry, documentation) Preferred Qualifications Food science, QA, or related field Experience in USDA, FDA, or SQF-certified facilities Familiarity with food safety documentation and audits Physical & Schedule Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Standing, bending, stooping throughout the shift Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays Overtime available Must be able to commute reliably Why Join Us Stable, full-time role in an essential industry Clear expectations and structured QA processes Opportunity to grow within Quality & Food Safety Be part of a team that takes food safety seriously
