Job Description
Proman Staffing has partnered with our global manufacturing client to source and hire a Polishing & Deburring Operator to join their Melrose Park facility. This is an excellent Direct Hire opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional who takes pride in producing high-quality finished components. The ideal candidate will possess strong blueprint-reading skills, experience with manual polishing and deburring processes, and a commitment to precision and quality workmanship. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform polishing, deburring, grinding, and finishing operations on metal components to meet blueprint, specification, and quality requirements. Inspect finished parts for surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and overall workmanship. Safely operate finishing tools and equipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of polishing and deburring experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and finishing requirements. Experience using hand-held finishing tools and polishing equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift and handle parts weighing up to 10 to 15 pounds.
