Job Description
Prepare complex precision-machined components for final inspection and shipment through deburring, surface finishing, cleaning, and thread preparation. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Experience deburring complex aerospace components to customer specifications. Experience creating and maintaining required surface finishes. Experience maintaining critical burr-free and sharp-edge requirements. Experience washing and cleaning machined parts. Experience with hand tapping and chasing threaded holes. Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills. Ability to identify critical edges, surface finish requirements, outside diameters, and inside diameters from prints. Ability to determine required deburring areas from part geometry and engineering drawings. Experience working with intricate, close-tolerance machined components. High visual acuity and fine motor control for detailed manual work. Preferred Skills Experience in medical device manufacturing or another high-precision regulated manufacturing environment. Experience with complex aerospace parts and assemblies. Experience with precision inspection or final inspection support. Experience working to detailed break-edge and surface-finish specifications. Job Responsibilities Deburr complex precision-machined components according to engineering drawings and customer requirements. Identify and process critical edges, break edges, inside diameters, outside diameters, and other specified features. Create and maintain required surface finishes. Remove burrs while preserving critical dimensions and part geometry. Wash and clean completed parts. Perform hand tapping and chase threaded holes as required. Review blueprints and drawings to determine deburring and finishing requirements. Inspect work for burrs, edge condition, surface finish, and visible defects. Prepare completed components for final inspection and shipment. Follow applicable aerospace manufacturing and quality requirements.
Pay:
