Temp Beyond TalentEdge has partnered with a local global manufacturing company that serves customers in the aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, medical, consumer, and industrial markets. The company is seeking a full time Grinder, we invite you to apply today!

Responsibilities:

Set-Up, adjusts, and operates reciprocating or rotary wheel table-type surface grinders on more than one machine at a time.
Work must follow to exacting tolerances with allowances made for effects of temperature and aging of raw material.
Ability to perform mathematics and calculations as needed to complete tasks
Knowledge on how to use different tooling and experience how to install
Sustains tooling to perform at maximum efficiency
Cleaning machine and coolant tanks as needed
Follows established company policies
Experience reading blueprints

Requirement Qualifications:

Prefers 2-4 years of grinding experience
High school diploma or GED
Being able to sit, stand or walk for long periods
Able to lift 40 pounds
Experience using G & M code
Intermediate skills of using a surface, cylindrical, Blanchard, centerless, and form grinders
Experience with micrometers, indicators, calipers, Indi-square
Ability to hold ±0.0001" dimensional, parallel, perpendicular, and flatness tolerances
Prior experience grinding hard materials such as ceramics, glass, and carbides

Salary & Schedule:

$19-21 an hour

Monday

Thursday 2:45pm
12:15am Friday 2:45pm
6:45pm
