Job Description
Position Overview Under the general direction of the Production Manager, the finisher will be responsible for the oversight and application of water and oil-based primers and finishes via a spray-based system to a variety of parts including, but not limited to, luxury wood windows. Essential Job Functions
- Sanding Prep
- Use of Oil and Water based Stain
- Ability to color-match as needed
- Clear and Pigmented Sealers and topcoats
- Utilizes various spray equipment
- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Other duties as assigned Requirements
- Self-starter with a strong attention to detail
- Minimum 3 years of finishing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings a must
- Basic math including addition and subtraction of fractions
- Strong reading and writing skills Other Skills/Abilities Experience in spray booth operations
- Minimum 5 years' experience finishing in a custom woodshop preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand, air, and power tools Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
