Haeger/Hardware Operator Express Employment Professionals - 3.8 Columbus, OH Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Tooling Shop math Manufacturing facility experience Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description Position Summary The Haeger Hardware Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Haeger hardware insertion equipment to install fasteners, nuts, studs, standoffs, and other hardware into sheet metal and fabricated components. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical ability, and the ability to accurately follow blueprints and work instructions. Essential Job Duties Set up and operate Haeger hardware insertion machines. Install PEM nuts, studs, standoffs, and other hardware into fabricated metal parts. Select the correct tooling and hardware according to job specifications. Load, position, and remove parts from the machine. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production instructions. Verify the correct type, size, and location of hardware before installation. Use calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other measuring tools. Inspect completed parts to ensure hardware is properly installed and meets quality standards. Make basic machine adjustments as necessary. Identify defective parts, incorrect hardware, or other quality issues. Maintain required production rates while meeting quality expectations. Complete production and quality documentation. Perform basic machine inspections and routine preventative maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Assist with other fabrication and production duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous Haeger or PEM hardware insertion machine experience preferred. Previous manufacturing, fabrication, press operation, or machine operation experience is a plus. Experience working with sheet metal or fabricated metal components preferred. Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools. Basic math and mechanical skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manufacturing tasks. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. Preferred Experience Candidates with previous experience as a Haeger Operator, Hardware Insertion Operator, PEM Operator, Press Operator, Fabrication Operator, Sheet Metal Operator, or Machine Operator are encouraged to apply.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
