This energetic position involves performing asbestos abatement, restoration, and mold remediation projects across various construction and renovation sites. As an integral part of our safety-first culture, you will work diligently to protect yourself, your team, and the environment while delivering high-quality results that meet all regulatory standards. Duties Safely perform asbestos abatement procedures in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and project specifications. Prepare work sites by setting up containment barriers, ventilation systems, and necessary safety equipment to prevent asbestos fiber release. Remove, bag, and dispose of asbestos materials following strict regulatory guidelines to ensure environmental safety. Conduct mold remediation tasks as needed, including identifying mold growth, removing contaminated materials, and applying appropriate treatments. Assist with restoration activities post-abatement to restore affected areas to safe and compliant conditions. Use specialized tools and equipment for asbestos removal, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration for optimal performance. Maintain detailed records of work performed, safety inspections, waste disposal logs, and compliance documentation throughout each project. Skills Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to asbestos handling, abatement procedures, and workplace safety protocols. Experience in asbestos abatement projects within construction or restoration environments. Familiarity with mold remediation techniques and best practices for environmental health. Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and hazard mitigation strategies. Ability to operate specialized tools and personal protective equipment effectively. Excellent attention to detail for documentation, safety checks, and quality assurance processes. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on project progress.
