Job:

The Mold and Tool Maker is responsible for repairing and maintaining small to medium size plastic injection molds for the Automotive and Medical Industries. The successful candidate must have experience in all phases of toolmaking including EDM, CNC and hot runner experience is a plus. Qualifications and Skills Tool maker experience - minimum 8 years Working knowledge of Building Plastic injection molds Capable of working without direct supervision Capable of trouble shooting and repairing molds Perform changeovers of molds Proficient in Math and Print reading / Computer Skills / Cad / Programming for CNC Proficient in CNC and EDM and hot runner

Description of Duties :

Responsible for the building or repair of molds, tools, fixtures and gages as directed. Perform tool inspections and detect needed repairs to assist in tool assessments. Ensure personal and fellow employee safety in all work activities. Test and measure components, and repair molds, tools, fixtures, or gages as directed Consult, advise and assist in the start-up of molds. Change mold inserts Recommend improvements and be part of a functioning project team. Perform Preventative Maintenance.
